Application Process

The two part application for Mobility Project Voucher splits out eligibility and project design development. See the graphic below outlining the application process. 

APPLICATION TIMING

We anticipate opening Part 1 of the Mobility Project Voucher application in Late 2022. Timing is subject to change as we work to accommodate and respond to changing circumstances.

OVERVIEW

The Mobility Project Voucher application is separated into two parts to assess eligibility and project design development. The graphic to the right and the summary below provide an overview of Part 1 and Part 2 of the application process.

IMPORTANT: This is just an overview of the application process. Please consult the Implementation Manual to review the complete process in detail.

PART 1 PROCESS

  1. Develop Part 1 of your application utilizing support from your technical assistance advocate.
  2. Submit your Part 1 application.
  3. Submission window closes.
  4. Applications are reviewed for completeness and eligibility.

PART 2 PROCESS

  1. Develop Part 2 of your application utilizing support from your technical assistance advocate.
  2. Submit your Part 2 application by the application deadline. You may submit application at any time before the deadline.
  3. Move on to voucher execution and reimbursement.

NOTE: Only eligible applicants for which there is available funding will continue to complete their application in Part 2 of the application process. All other applicants will be waitlisted for Part 2 of the application process.

If mailed, the submittal date will be determined by U.S. mail postmark. For security purposes, supporting documents that are sent on removable media (flash drives, CDs, DVDs, etc.) will not be accepted.

Considerations

At this time, we are not able to accept applications through in-person delivery. Please call us at (626) 744-5670 if this poses an inconvenience.

NO EARLY SUBMISSIONS: Early submissions cannot be accepted and must be resubmitted during the application window time frame.

NO INCOMPLETE SUBMISSIONS: Applicants will be notified if an application is incomplete. The Program Administrator will notify applicants what is needed for the application to be considered complete. To ensure that you submit a complete application, please see the application checklist or discuss with a technical assistance advocate.
