The Clean Mobility Options Voucher Pilot Program awarded Community Transportation Needs Assessment vouchers worth more than $1.2 million to under-resourced communities across California, with nearly $200,000 of that total set aside awarded specifically to eligible tribal governments.

The program awarded vouchers worth up to $100,000 each to 12 California nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments. The Needs Assessment Voucher is intended to support under-resourced communities in evaluating transportation gaps and identifying mobility challenges, needs, preferences, and priorities of residents. This voucher award enables applicants to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment and if applicable begin planning and developing a reliable mobility project that helps residents overcome these challenges.
