SACRAMENTO, CA – The Clean Mobility Equity Alliance team is hosting the 2nd annual Clean Mobility Forum on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PDT funded by the California Air Resources Board and the California Energy Commission.
The Clean Mobility Forum is a one-day in-person event focused on clean mobility topics and discussions. There will be an option to attend keynotes and most sessions virtually. The forum agenda includes a keynote plenary, panels, workshops, and a closeout plenary and reception. Attendees will learn about and share project lessons and successes, network and connect in person with clean mobility project awardees, experts in the field, and other potential partners.
Early, no-fee registration is available now to Clean Mobility Equity Alliance members, nonprofits, local governments, nonprofit mobility providers or tribes only. For more registration information visit the Eventbrite page or email Michelle Baron at [email protected].
Last year the event was attended by over 200 people both virtually and in-person where they took part in breakout groups and listened to presentations led by experts from diverse stakeholder sectors:
Last year’s sessions covered many issues facing the advancement of clean, shared mobility options. See some of last year’s session titles below:
Below are quotes from previous attendees:
“By applying lessons learned [from the Clean Mobility Forum], we aim to not only improve our existing electric micro-mobility projects but also ensure the success and sustainability in this rapidly evolving sector of transportation,” said Jose Jimenez from ActiveSGV.
“As a community partner, I was inspired by the presentations and panelists that spoke to the importance of doing this work ‘with’ the community, not ‘for’ the community. This is a message that drives the work of public libraries and it was refreshing to hear it showcased in this environment,” said Cathy Crosthwaite from the Sacramento Public Library.
“Being from my rural part of the country I had no idea that so much was going on with Clean Mobility. Listening to some of the leaders around the state was definitely impressive. My mind is still racing with so many ideas and dreams. I think one of the biggest things that I took away from this conference is that there is so much support for Clean Mobility Programs out there,” said Orval Elliot Jr. of the Hopland Band of Pomo Indians.
