We’re excited to announce that the Clean Mobility Equity Alliance team is hosting the 2nd annual Clean Mobility Forum funded by the California Air Resources Board and the California Energy Commission! This year’s Forum will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm PDT.
The Clean Mobility Forum is a one-day in-person event focused on clean mobility topics and discussions. There will be an option for virtual attendance for keynote speeches and most sessions. The forum agenda includes a keynote plenary, panels, workshops, and a closeout plenary and reception. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and connect in person with clean mobility project awardees, experts in the field, and other potential partners, as well as learn about and share project lessons and successes.
Last year’s Forum was a success and we are working hard to deliver an even more enriching Forum experience. Don’t take our word for it, below are testimonials from the previous forum’s attendees.

This session is for attendees currently implementing bikeshare, preparing to launch a bikeshare system, considering a bikeshare for their community, and anyone interested in how bikeshare can meaningfully contribute to achieving transportation equity goals. Bikeshare program administrators will share how they are tailoring their bikeshare model to their communities. Brytanee Brown and Joey Juhasz-Lukomski will then present questions to attendees about transportation equity and then apply those principles to bikeshare. Lastly, the group will discuss the challenges bikeshare programs commonly face: theft and vandalism, the deterrent effects of the built environment, wavering political will, and the importance of widespread education and engagement. During the sharing segment, attendees will hear about how to meet these challenges while applying principles of transportation equity.

Tribal Nations across the United States are rich in diversity of cultures, perspectives, population, geography, and transportation goals. Yet, the traditional approach to transportation planning at state and local levels and existing tools often fail to align with tribal community context and needs. Through the hands of tribal transportation leaders and practitioners, this session will explore how culturally appropriate approaches and the inclusion of tribal perspectives and expertise is critical in advancing equitable planning and implementation of multimodal transportation options in tribal communities.
